On 22.04.2025, the students of PGDM and BBM from the Indian Institute of Business Management (IIBM), Patna undertook an insightful industrial visit to AFP Manufacturing (MunchhOnn), a prominent food processing and packaging unit located in Hajipur.
The objective of the visit was to bridge the gap between theoretical learning and practical exposure, providing students with a firsthand understanding of industry operations, quality control mechanisms, supply chain logistics, and marketing strategies. The management and staff at MunchhOnn warmly welcomed the group and provided a guided tour of their manufacturing facility.
Students observed various stages of food processing, packaging, and distribution, and also learned about the importance of hygiene standards, automation in manufacturing, and modern business practices. The visit included an interactive Q&A session, during which the students engaged with company representatives and asked questions related to business development, customer engagement, and product innovation.
Such industrial visits are a part of IIBM’s commitment to experiential learning, aiming to enhance the employability skills of its students by exposing them to real-world business environments.
The visit was a highly enriching experience, encouraging students to think critically and apply classroom knowledge to practical scenarios.

IIBM Patna and CED Patna successfully organised a heartwarming event at Aashraya Old Age Home. The day was filled with love, laughter, and togetherness as we spent quality time with the elderly residents, engaging in meaningful activities and sharing joy.
The event featured a variety of activities, including interactive games, storytelling sessions, and personal interactions, allowing us to connect with the residents on a deeper level. We also distributed gift hampers filled with healthy snacks, which brought smiles to the faces of both the residents and our volunteers. The joy we witnessed in their eyes was truly priceless, and it left us with an overwhelming sense of fulfillment.
Our dedicated team of volunteers, including Yash, Ansh, Atul Kumar, Maaz, Piyush, Anandita, and Shreya, worked tirelessly to ensure the event’s success. Alumni from the BBA 2024 batch—Aniket Burnwal, Apeksha, Riya, and Sonam—also joined us, adding to the event’s warmth and camaraderie. Prof. Kaushambi Kausal provided invaluable guidance throughout the day, and the entire event was conducted under the prominent leadership of Prof. Dr. Rohit Singh and Prof. Dr. Jyotsana Rai.
As the day came to a close, we expressed our heartfelt gratitude to the staff and management of Aashraya Old Age Home for their cooperation and hospitality. The residents' happiness was the highlight of the day, and we left with a renewed commitment to organizing more events like this in the future. We were also deeply honored to receive a letter of appreciation from the Old Age Home, which further motivated us to continue our efforts in making a positive impact on society.
The day was truly unforgettable, and we are grateful for the opportunity to give back to those who have given so much to the world.
